No true flat earth proponent ever claims that the earth is just a disc in space. The important thing about our model is that the earth

is quite literally the FLOOR of the entire universe, but the shape itself is not what is important. It is the fact that it gets rid of outer space and makes the sun, moon and stars much closer and all contained within the firmament, as Nikola Tesla noted. There is a dome/firmament covering the earth, which technically makes the earth model spherical, but not a sphere we are standing on, but a sphere we are in. And the most important thing about our model is that God is literally right on the other side of the dome. It makes Him much closer. The geocentric flat earth dome model is indeed true, which is why planetariums are shaped this way. This model changes your entire philosophy and worldview. It makes the house of cards fall down; it destroys the big bang, evolution, panspermia (aliens seeding mankind). It moves us from a place of nihilistic indifference (as a mere spec, a pale blue dot) to metaphysical importance.

But God, for most who believe in Him, is in their hearts. That's even closer.

@Zeusdelight Good point, but he isn't just there. He is still in his kingdom.

@SW-User So you are relying on a physical concept of Heaven for spiritual beings?
SW-User
@Zeusdelight It's not just about the spiritual. It's about the physical also. We have a body, soul, and spirit and we were made in the image of God - the Godhead or trinity is a Body (Jesus Christ) Soul (The Father) Spirit (The Holy Spirit). Eventually our physical body will be raised and we will be given a glorified body. A physical glorified body, which will be in heaven. Jesus said in Luke 24:39 after he rose from the dead, "Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have."

There is the kingdom of God, which is a spiritual kingdom within the body of Christ or within each believer, but there is also a physical kingdom - the kingdom of heaven. And yes, in heaven where God resides, it is an actual physical location where Jesus has prepared physical mansions for his people.

The spiritual and physical go together.

@SW-User Ah, but is obvious from the Gospel tales after the resurrection that the physical had changed. Many who knew him before did not recognise Him. We do not know what the physical will be.
