I Am Interested In Zodiac Astrology and Sun Signs
I love Astrology! Despite several studies proving no real correlation between everyday people and their signs, I still feel it has its place in life. Truth be told, I think non-believers don't actually understand it, so they chalk it up as being a bunch of mumbo-jumbo. I've been studying astrology since I was about fifteen years old and I have delved deep into its mysteries. I don't know everything there is to know about astrology, so I'm definitely not any sort of astrologer, but I enjoy reading up on it and learning more.
One of the downsides of astrology is that fact that so many people have a lot of it wrong. This is why I usually don't like discussing it with people and just like to analyze different signs on my own. The number one most misunderstood idea about astrology is:
People are more than just one sign (this is the part that I believe causes people to not believe in it). There are actually three major signs that people have that come together and influence a persons personality, traits, behaviors, etc... A lot of people will be told their sign is, I don't know, a Capricorn, for example, and read up on it and say "That doesn't describe me at all! This is such bullshit! Astrology isn't real!". Well, there are two other signs major signs in your chart, so you could have some traits from one, some from the other, and none from the last. It all just depends on what those signs are and their strengths.
The three major signs are your sun sign (which is the zodiac sign that is addressed more in the Western hemisphere of the world), the moon sign (the sign addressed more in the East, in places like India), and the rising/ascendant sign.
There are even more signs and placement of those signs in the chart that affect someone on a lower level (mid-heaven, your venus, the houses each of your sign are in, aspects, mid-points, etc...). These signs influence is at a much lower level, but still, play some sort of role.
Now, there is TONS more about astrology and the history, it's meaning, and purpose, but I'm not going to go into all of that now. It'll take a while 😂
For me personally, my sun sign is in Aries, my moon is in Taurus, and my rising is in Pisces. The Aries and Pisces are definitely a lot more present, and the Taurus... not so much. It's because Taurus is an earth sign that lays low a lot of the time and is not as aggressive as Aries and doesn't have the depth of a Pisces, preferring not to clash with either and instead let them run the show!
One of my favorite little games I like to play with myself is trying to figure out peoples' signs. I usually am correct!
My personal top favorite signs are (in order) Pisces, Aquarius, Aries, Taurus.
Least favorite (also in order) Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Capricorn. Those signs in someones rising are the worst!
Anyway, I'm done with this long ass post. The Aries is starting to get bored, lmao.
