Did You Get Your New Medicare Card In The Mail?

That’s what a scammer called and asked me. Said he was calling from Medicare. Told him that Medicare has already warned us that they don’t call on the phone for such things. He continued arguing. I told him to get a real job and then said You Little 💩, you are full of 💩. He tells me he is not in India and I reply I worked at a university and he didn’t even speak American English well. Keeps arguing and arguing….must be a slow day for scammers in India.

You always have to be aware of scams. They will try anything to get your information

@Sojournersoul Told him Medicare warned us about this scam. He kept on. Told him I would call Medicare and ask if they sent a card and he says “No, no, no, just tell me your address.” Told him no.
@cherokeepatti had one from social security office. Bad thing is for those of us that know, how many to they really scam.

@Sojournersoul I’ll make up a story and tell them a relative works there and they don’t operate this way. Let them keep arguing.

@Sojournersoul they will get lucky sometimes with older single people especially lonely elderly women or foreigners who don’t have a good command of English and get their bank accounts drained.
@cherokeepatti I know, last time I said if you are from SS, you should have my number. They got so mad.
@cherokeepatti I know and so sad when you hear it.
