This is a paper cut, it is form of chinese art. The dragon symbolizes the male, the yang, and the phoenix represents the female, the yin.

The dragon and phoenix together symbolize harmony and the happiness of a couple. The pattern of the dragon and phoenix also means auspiciousness and good luck.

And this is my favorite. My kungfu master gave me this a while ago. I admire it everyday and haven't decided where to put it yet.

It is a dragon print woven with metallic threads. This form of art is called the Yun brocade. Yun meaning cloud. The technique was created during the Yuan dynasty and flourished in the Ming dynasty and was used only for imperial clothing as tributes.

The loom by which these prints are created requires two artisans manipulating the threads. Each print is memorized orally alone and passed down through generation. No modern technology substituted this yet and it is still made through the traditional way.

@HannibalAteMeOut I might have donuts instead cake. Yesterday I saw mouth drooling bombolones and I almost cried because I couldn't have any. They were made with wheat flour. I am craving donuts and the first chance I have in gluten free bakery I will order at least dozen of that.

Yes, I did thai kickboxing for few months and karate. This was long and long ago. Gotten busy with life and dropped them as usual.

My current teacher knows I have this issue of quitting too soon so he goes easy on me to avoid it. 👌
