I Like Gymnastics

I love women's gymnastics, I think it's the coolest sport ever. I first saw it when I was little and we were watching it at the Olympics on TV...I instantly wanted to do that but I was heartbroken when my mom told me that boys didn't do that or get to wear the sparkly outfits 😝

Men's gymnastics is cool too and you can wear jazzy outfits if you really want! Although consider yourself lucky that boys don't wear leotards, they are really uncomfortable 😔 Women's gymnastics is not so different from men's - a lot of us have really strong upper bodies, even though we strive to look feminine and graceful.

@MilanoBoy Having to worry about your appearance all the time is not such fun for some girls and seems a bit old fashioned to me 😒 You are not allowed to wear underwear beneath your leotard and they are not designed for girls like me who have less full bodies. I sometimes put hairspray on my bottom to stop the seat from rucking up 😟

I didn't think about having to worry about the appearance. I think I did know that you can't wear underwear under them, aren't they sort of like a one piece bathing suit? I'm sorry that the ones you have to wear are so uncomfortable. It's odd that yours are like that because the girls I know who do gymnastics are also small and have less full bodies like you've said you have, but they have said that theirs fit really well.

Is it weird or wrong that I almost want to put on a leotard and try some gymnastics myself sometime?
