I Love Gymnastics

I learned the basics of gymnastics in primary school at a Wednesday lunchtime club, run by one of the parents. Because we did not have PE on a Wednesday, I usually forgot to bring anything to change into and had to take part in my underwear. But that slight indignity did not stop me from loving gymnastics 😊

Awww poor Sophie 😊 but I assume like me in primary school you didn’t have an actual PE kit anyway so was used to being in knickers.

@KatieJ We wore T-shirt and shorts from year 3 onward, but pants and vest if we forgot. Gymnastics was much too fun to miss just because I had nothing to change into 😊

@KatieJ Perhaps it is best that way, then you can't forget your kit! It was fine, there was invariably at least one other girl doing the class in her pants, so I was never too self-conscious.
