I Love The Paintings Of Claude Monet

I have visited his house and gardens very beautiful but also very busy with tourists. Only copies of his works there but with patience you can get good photos of the gardens where he painted many of his more famous works.

I have never been fortunate enough to travel abroad. Still,when my husband and I were looking for some sort of artwork to cover a large portion of of new home's living room wall,we found a local artist who very much emulates Monet's style and color palette. In the background a green Moon Bridge crosses a lake which contains many burgundy colored water lilies,and in the foreground are many lavender/burgundy Iris. The picture's palette knife texture also adds to it's calming beauty.
