Do you think when drawing that you need to add in every bit of shading to make your work look more complete....or does that ruin the enjoyment of it??

My drawings look like a seven year old, lol.

I find the harder I try to make it look realistic by including every shade and detail, the less realistic it looks, and that is what kills the enjoyment. 😂

I think my problem is I tend to do too much of my own thing and not follow the details
