I really like this. The texture of the pit is great. And what you've done with the shading on it, is so cool.

Well, that made me smile. You have a good eye. I used some texture paste to bring the pit area forward. I am not a realist, obviously. I distort a lot. Too much for some. @PhoenixPhail

@Kathburglar Painting NEEDS distortion, since it's only a representation of something. Also, I graduated college with a degree in studio art, so I have a rather educated eye.
