You like it darker: Stephen King

The first short story is about two guys who develop their talents within. One an artist, the other a writer.

Nicely paced, describes North West America in the Fifties. The side we rarely see.

‘Nothing can give you what is not already there’.

I read "1922". I think it was amazing, beautifully imaginative and probably very accurate for the terrible things leading up to the Great Depression, but who knew, those who were mired in such events, who could see the BIG PICTURE?

Made me love this author..once again.

Never liked Stephen king, way too dark for me.

Something not right about him.

@Fairydust I got lost once in the Sierra Nevada. I stayed all night in a hostel. Repetitive music played all night. I could not get out any quicker. Only to find myself in a deep mist. Very Stephen King.

But then I like Gothic Art.

Yeah I like some dark stuff but his movies give me the creeps.

@Fairydust Dr Sleep was very good. Rebecca Ferguson was fantastic as Rose the hat.
