I Love Arts and Crafts

I'm not really sure where to put this, but I thought that this was the closest category available.
I recently tried making my own soap and this is how it turned out! Not too bad, I think.
I used a goat's milk base and then I dehydrated avocado and cucumber and added that in there, along with some green tea leaves and homemade dandelion infused olive oil.
Originally, I wanted the soap to be a nice green color, but it came out beige with green specks. I still think it looks cool though.
I'm now addicted to coming up with new soap recipes and forms to try, the only problem is that I have enough soap to last me the rest of the year! 😄

Nice, and good for you. Commercial soaps are loaded with chemicals. Dandelion's are super healthy, who would have thought a weed that most wish to get rid of could do so much for health.

@curiosi That's exactly why I decided to make my own. I know 100% what's in there! 👍🏻
And you're definitely right about dandelions. I do so many things with them!
I make dandelion infused vinegar and olive oil, for cosmetics and to eat in salads. I also love dandelion syrup on my pancakes! It tastes exactly like honey. 😋

I want a soap with pipe tobacco, whiskey, and leather.
PavlovsPuppy · 100+, F
@xixgun That sounds interesting. I bet it could be done! 😄
Cool, are you going to sell them?

@lovelywarpedlemon
Well, I probably would, but I don't really have the time.
Maybe I'll give some away to family and friends! 😜
@PavlovsPuppy They're cute. I would buy some like that, if only they didn't have olive oil in them. For some reason my skin does not like olive oil. Coconut oil is okay though. I've always wanted to try making my own soaps.
