I Love Art
On a serious note, when you pounce into something for the first time, and don't expect to achieve much, i didn't carefully plan or think through what i was doing, i wanted to get a feel for making something 3D, rather than drawing flat images to hang up on a wall, i wanted to experiment....NOW, i realise, haven shown too much interest that there's techniques i should have done in the begining to improve my finished result...and its made me hesitate on finishing,...i see rhe clay has hardened in lumps and bumps, is thinking is it worth it???...what will others think when they notice my obvious mistakes???..do i feel any urge to restart, when ive came so far for nothing???....what will happen with what ive already done up till now
And its hard dry clay...im not sure water will do the trick, ive tried sanding the jaw if Lumiere (The candle) as you can see by all the chipped gold paint on his jaw....but im not sure a sanding stone is best...they are all quite lumpy and bumpy..but surely i cant start again from square one!!!!!
