I am almost done - just not yet...
I am very happy with the progression of this piece actually and am having much fun making it - working with sSsage :))
I am actively listening to the plant that is everywhere around me.
I don't smoke you know, but I found some rolling papers on the ground and yesterday I rolled a huge joint out of dried sage and only that!!! I have smoked sage in the past, but not all that much in one go eheheh
I am having a life over here - I am finding routines - I wake up pretty early and I slowly get myself ready.. I walk down the hill to my bicycle, then I cycle to one of the 3 places nearby I can find internet at - a beautiful little restaurant, a gas station that serves coffee and an art park.
As for the art park, I have been there before in the past, did a residency - but at this time situations are different and since it isn't a public space exactly I try to not interrupt them. But I pay a coffee at the restaurant and they are so sweet and let me charge my laptop, same with the gas station, though, over there the environment is bit uhm more raw let's call it hah. Nevermind. I stay around for few hours then ride and hike back up, I paint, I chill, there's always some minor little thing to do that occupies my time.
I make some food - I am eating a repetitive thing which I love eating and occasionally I might buy an extra sandwich from the gas station. My main food is dry barley rusks that I wet with water, slice a tomato on top, add a ton of tahini and depending on what I buy I make variations - some olives, some canned chickpeas, some cucumber, etc.. And I buy some fruits, peaches, bananas, apples, pears. What seems easy to carry.
I fill my water bottles and have fresh water up there, to take a quick shower before bed at night. Once every 3 days or so, I wash my hair with a green soap:) They're good.
I have sent 2 job applications during this time but no answer - it seems that my CV is too much of an artist.
But I also work on building my site daily. I am doing a little task daily. Today I have registered my business on Stripe.
It all seems so funny, to be living here and to be keeping my work alive in this way.
I have some more things to do before I finish with this painting - I need to move to a new location nearby, in order to bless it. Yes funny as that! AHAHA but I believe in what I am doing but I am also seeing the fun part - that lady is crazy af. I love her too. Yes, me, that one the self-proclaimed Sage Queen!
I did crown myself with Sage too after smoking the thing. Of course I will show you, if you behave - let me see...
