How to get inspired for original poses?

I want inspiration for creating original poses, rather than being inspired by pics of people posing. I paint in CSP but I don't really like the 3D models because it comes out too stiff when I reference them (which is probably a skill issue but still). I use references for the technical understanding of anatomy, lighting, etc. but I want to create poses from imagination. I just don't know how to spark my imagination in this one area.

@Nightwings Ah. Well movies and videos both entertainment and instructional exist. Of course you can see what other artists have done.

@froggtongue Yeah my point was how to get inspired for original poses from imagination, instead of reference pics, like what inspires other artists I wonder. Maybe doodling action lines, making some random ones and thinking how to get the chatacter into that form, or interesting composition boxes...
