You did better on the newer version. A bit more detail on the lips. The hair looks more relaxed and natural. Also like the eyes, yet that's more of a imagination thing. Nice folding action with the shirt. Not so stiff and straight as the older version.

The first one seems more raw in the moment; whereas the second seems prepared groomed. It depends on which is more fitting to the moment. Did the person rush to do something or are they put together such that they were prepared to meet the day? It depends on the situation?
