Sisyphean by Dempow Torishima
This picture is based on the first story in the book Sisyphean, which is about a worker who awakens in a sleeping pod each day, (rebirth is very prominent in this book,) to work in an oppressive factory for the president who was once human but is now a hideous creature, transformed somehow. The worker was built for slavery and in the first story, it's all about the conditions they face while building organs and bones for important clients who need them. Honestly, in the story the worker is male but the AI generated a female so I got what I got.
The above is mostly paraphrased from a Goodreads review with my notes added in but I found it best to describe the first chapter. It's actually impossible to get something accurate because the book is basically bio punk horror and humans have gone through centuries of evolution and rebirth in such ways that it wouldn't look like the picture but I liked the feeling it conveyed as that's the feeling you get from reading it. So I'm somewhat pleased as it's close but not exact.
