while the painting is very lovely, i only suggest next sunset painting try adding a bit of mixed in purple to the edges of the sun as that does happen in nature too and will help offset the sun so its more focal not just hazy blur

@SW-User restricted colors can be good i agree, only the sunset doesn't feel like at sea to me, it feels like on a lake, at most as the colors are muted and such....

@WolfGirlwh0r3 ☺️ It's actually a sunrise in my backyard in southern Utah. I took a picture of
it the morning I started the painting. I'm not a very good planner yet, when it comes to
this stuff. I just have an Idea in my head, and start laying down color. It's a fun learning
process, for an old dog like me.

@WolfGirlwh0r3 I'll try that. I still have a lot to learn. Is there a difference between painting
a sunrise, vs a sunset? This is my 3rd one, and I call it a sunset. I will find the sunrise photo
that I used.
