Maybe some birds, i always see thoes in paintings like these. But regardless i do like it!

while the painting is very lovely, i only suggest next sunset painting try adding a bit of mixed in purple to the edges of the sun as that does happen in nature too and will help offset the sun so its more focal not just hazy blur

@WolfGirlwh0r3 I'll try that. I still have a lot to learn. Is there a difference between painting
a sunrise, vs a sunset? This is my 3rd one, and I call it a sunset. I will find the sunrise photo
that I used.

Possibly a partial tree in the left foreground.
Or the planet Venus, in the left sky?

@SW-User Yes, acrylic.

What do you think about some large Palm fronds in the foreground? Too much?

A bit more surrealism? I'm sorry but it feels more complete for me then :-)

@DogMan I’m glad I’ve been of some help.
Take your time with the colour matching, it is a beautiful painting.

Ok, yes I will do that. Those are easy. Even I can do those. ☺️

Tiny highlights of the light from the sunset on the tips edges of the waves. Not all along , but just here and there in the middle bits lime where the sunlight is reflecting .
And a little texture on the beach sand detail to the foreground ...you know , maybe some dry splattering from your brush, a few tiny pebbles or something . It'll help give it depth.
Maybe...jist an idea🤷
Wonderful colors though, so intense .

@DogMan well now I'm not sure . Ive looked at this for quite a while, and then went to look at reference photos, and the light doesn't always whit the top of the waves.
But I have this 'feel,' it's not quite hit the 'luminosity' it could have .
Do you have a reference photo at all?
I'd really like to help, and I used to teach watercolour painting .

@OogieBoogie Thank you. No I don't have a reference, but I did order a book on paint sea
and waves. Hope to get it soon. It should have useful info. It amazes me how some of you
artists can paint water. I'm going to keep trying, I'm getting better little by little. Here is a mural
I am working on at The Las Vegas Farm and Barn Buddies Rescue.
These are two 10' wide panels. Total is about 75ft
