Stunning. I'm not articulate on sculptures, but there is a robustness; grace; repose; intrigue; sometimes a play of the rawness of earth/ nature against the delicate texture of living things. You feel them.
I'm fascinated by the person. Not clear what he was thinking, I don't know him. But for me it brings to mind the fragility of our living bodies that hold us within life with our thoughts, feelings, preferences, interactions as long as we live... but dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return.
And it's a magnificent portrait of him. Appropriately sculptural.
