And now, here comes my favourite part of the painting process called,

"Don't fuck up the eye or you've ruined the whole painting and you can't go back and fix it cause it's watercolour"

You can always start again? I know, I know... you don't want to ruin what you've worked at so much. Photography, my passion, especially with digital, comes (almost always) with multiple takes in moments.

@SW-User ah yeah, if I mess them up, I do start again! ☺️ I always end up just using the other side of the watercolour paper for something else later

@caccoon Good use of material. They say repurpose before recycling, ya know. I feel you about the loss in work, though.

@SW-User ah yeah, it's okay if it happens! It's frustrating of course but it's just part of it and learning to let go and not be so precious about it

@caccoon Indeed! It's hard with artwork or any intimate work. I, accidentall,y offended someone I respect by stating a preference in poetry last night. I remember having an art show and the one who helped me curate it really was wise with words in saying, be prepared for critiques and don't let them get the best of you. Wise words.
