What is your favorite art medium? (If you have one)

I love charcoal pencils, I'm not really very good but it's calming and I like the look. Oriental calligraphy is another art form I used to enjoy. Made my own inks and ordered unique papers from all over the world.

@Grateful4you I did a story on it on EP...my brother a natural artist taught me to draw..unfortunately he stopped at lantern jawed tough guys with five o'clock so I rounded up a slew of "womens magazines"😳
from my doctor..it went well so I did album art, original stuff...my brother really should have pursued his art..I can't find most of my old chef d'oeuvres ..sic transit gloria mundi
@bookerdana Your brother sounds like he was a bit of an enigma much like my own except Dennis (As I've already told you) disapproves of my "lifestyle" which at this time of my life is about as tawdry as a 70 plus nun straight out of the Vanessa Redgrave movie "The Devils" half crazed with lust and self-flagellation.

@Grateful4you I've heard of that flick....he just seemed to leave his artwork behind as one leaves childhood toys behind......he was a prodigy
@bookerdana The movie was, well...disturbing.(to say the least) I hate to load a lot of flattery on your head but honestly Chris, "prodigy" obviously runs in the family. I mean that sincerely. I think the movie has to be purchased as I've only ever been able to see a quick scene on YouTube. As twisted as it is, it's really well done. The Redgraves are of course a cut above Linda Blair.

@Grateful4you One hopes...thing is he was taking HS REGENTS Chemistry in fifth grade.....he could memorize epic poems in a few minutes and showed great writing prowess throughout his schooling...its just something you have
@bookerdana You seem to be commenting about him in past tense. Did he pass away? One of those with a "Beautiful Mind" No way was I a prodigy, teachers just couldn't understand how I put entire Shakespearian speeches to memory overnight yet was totally dumbstruck with basic multiplication, or reading "Crime and Punishment" by the 6th. grade, go figure.

@Grateful4you He died about two years ago, very quickly........Believe me I enjoy my life, what I have been given,my talents. But his death still haunts my younger brother and myself and the art thing just brought that back.

We all have our gifts and failings ,you were able to memorize Shakespeare and I'm sure a host of other things..the mind is really the last frontier of Science
@bookerdana That it is. Some woman called me a "dumbass" earlier, I ignored it. Now she writes again as though the lack of attention is getting to her. I'm not going to dignify her juvenile behavior. Would you?
