It's hard to say, I am kinda leaning to 3 because the lower part and background seems more Impressionist with a bit of Surrealism, plus somewhat Francis Bacon-y too (with the amorphous rims of the glasses); I don't really like the fox eyes in 3 though, even if the intent is to be eerie, that seems like the fox has been mutilated

In 1 I like the detail in the decanter at left

In 2 I like the detail in the tumbler at left

I kind of like the fox face and chest in 2 the best though

Good points. Fox 2 has the least evil expression as well...worth to mention 😅@SW-User

@SW-User not evil but still a bit gothic ... I feel like the fox in 3 has been tortured and had its eyes gouged out, and I don't want to feel actual horror when looking at the poor fox in that case ... it's nice that in 3 the other detail is fairly serene and tranquil

All are indeed gothic. Fox 1 & 3 look a bit possessed & demonic imo, lol. Perhaps the lack of pupils accentuates it.

@SW-User in 2 there could be legit evil within but it is concealed well and with sophistication, almost like Hannibal standing up straight with good posture etc when Clarice meets him for the first time in his cell ... fox 2 could be waiting to disarm you and lull you into a false sense of safety

Haha, yes. He looks like someone to reason with. Human-like evil, if any. Could be the worst kind. @SW-User

@SW-User in 1 the front legs and feet leave me wanting an alternate execution too

For whatever reason humans seem to like conflating vampires and sensuality, and the fur in 2 on the chest has more of that luxuriant vibe which can make it more gothic if we're not going to head in the Surrealist/abstraction direction
