You know, the whole point to these drawing challenges are to rekindle some drawing skills that I haven’t used in a long time and to hopefully grow as an artist. After looking at this drawing for a few hours … I feel the forehead is a bit high, which throws the facial proportions off some. It’s also a very static pose (which has always been a major issue for my drawings) … so … it’s time to go back to the drawing board (literally) and work on making my drawings more dynamic … I do like the eyes on this drawing, I think they give a feeling of sadness that I was wanting to convey. Hopefully lots more to come.

I just want to say thank you for sharing these. I haven’t gotten around to starting, but your posts have inspired me to do something similar to reignite my love for drawing, getting creative in general

@WhateverWorks Thank you … I’ve been thinking about it for months now, but I never could get “inspired” … so finally I made a list of challenge drawings, each night I just pull out my list and dive in … this realistic drawing was based on the ‘pickle drawing’ from the day before … I thought on it all day and was excited to start … I’ve already got tonight’s in mind and it’s not from the list (so just maybe I’m beginning to get a bit inspired again) … lol
I’d be glad to share my challenge list with you or anybody that wants to see it …

That’s wonderful! Yes, I definitely love to see your list. Maybe I can piggyback and it’ll give me a place to start? @YoungDawg66
