Those who do realism art can you answer a question from yours truly please and thank you

Does understanding light differ in colour and black and white ? For example the brightest part on an object of colour would that part be the light side or the shadow side

@Prettybratbi1tch You need to read some physics and biology. Physics dictate that the color is the color that the object reflects, the darkness and brightness of the color is dictated by the objects ability to absorb light, if it absorbs more light it will become darker in color. If there's less light to be absorbed by the object that reflects a certain color the color will be less saturated, meaning more gray. If you have a lamp that only emits red light, you will only be able to see objects that "are" red, everything else will be color-less.
