Do you appreciate abstract art?
Do you only like paintings, sculpture, etc. that is representative of something real or can you appreciate a work of art that is more about color or shape and isn't meant to "be" anything in particular?

I don't mind abstract art, but I don't automatically like all of it. For me to like it, it has to have interesting composition, and uses of colour, texture and technique. It has to have enough layers of complexity and depth to keep it interesting. If it's too simple I can take it in at a glance and soon get bored.
