How dare you. He is a National Treasure and has been around more years than people can remember. Not to mention many people (like me) was a fan of Steve Reeves who gave the character whole new dimensions.

@Grateful4you Steve? Not George?

@Quizzical I thought it was Christopher Reeves..🤔

@Quizzical George was the TV version who also died a tragic death, some say suicide others murder. I think the last name was spelled the same and if true rather ironic.

@Grateful4you I'd never heard of Steve Reeves. I'll have to look him up.

@SW-User Probably early onset. No worries in the end stages you don't realize you're dying.

@Grateful4you end stage and early onset of Alzheimers and Dementia aren't laughing matters to me. I work in the medical field, and to see people die of these things is devastating

@SW-User I spent years as a recreational therapist and LOVED my alzheimers. In nursing we often lightened things up with "gallows" humor. I loved and respected these folks and certainly don't intend to demean or minimize the tragedy.

@SW-User BTW; I also won "Best Practices" for my efforts by the Ca.state dept. of health. So I must have been doing a few things right. I continue to lecture now and then.
