Yeah. Feels like the whole kryptonite weakness was tacked on. That being said, the origins were good. The creator based Superman on his father. I think the flying thing came later.

@Mentalicious And when he landed that curl in the middle of his forehead all in perfect form. I used to jump off the garage roof with one of moms clean bedsheets from the clothes line. I got green stains on it and told her, "It's Kryptonite" I never got in trouble with that plausible explanation.
