Laws in some countries really are baffling. 😅

@NerdyPotato Only in some countries?
NerdyPotato · M
@ninalanyon fair enough. This weird one doesn't exist in all countries, but I bet they have other ones that have no logic behind them.
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@NerdyPotato Absolutely, for instance, in Norway it is not illegal to sell sexual services, but it is illegal to buy them.

@ninalanyon it's the same with drugs in the Netherlands. "Coffee shops" can legally sell weed, but not buy or grow it. Their stock just magically appears, I guess.

@ninalanyon Same with Canada, I read the law many times, but I can't understand it.
@JimboSaturn In Canada, prostitution is NOT illegal! Communication for the purposes of prostitution IS ILLEGAL! Emphasis is on arresting the clients, NOT the prostitutes!🙊🤡
