Are matriarchal societies lead by dominate women?
I don't believe so in the traditional sense, yet women do pick the men.
And before anyone says their has never been such a society, I give the Zo é tribe of Brazil as a existing example.
Not only matriarchal, yet a polygamous matriarchal society, that has existed for hundreds of years.
It's the society structure that determines the values. Not so called human nature.
We are a adaptable species. We can change.
