Recently, strong urges have been telling me to get an aquarium, but I still don't know if it is a good idea. Won't the fish find the space small? Do you think it matters?

@aquascaper72: I am not sure, I just want a square one, one meter tops in width, and just one little fishy; 😊🐟 I'll make it some cute living surroundings, etc. I am new to this thing. Don't know where to start.
