What is your imagined perfect life, what would have to change overnight if you were to get it tomorrow?

I bet I have imagined a more intricate "perfect life" than any of you miffos 😏

I think I'm getting mine in a few months. 😁

@MartinTheFirst No, the math analogy actually is good. Works for me anyway.

So, I get what you are saying. I had a fairly serious relationship with a guy for a few years so I understand the different dynamic that you are talking about. But let me describe the synergy that comes from two sine waves.

First with Mark (my sine-cosine relationship), there was a balance as you describe. But along with that balance, there was also a constant pulling in different directions. Our "energies" were not the same (obviously). His very masculine energy seemed to always try (subconsciously) to subdue my feminine energy.

With Alex (my sine-sine relationship) our energies are perfectly in sync and aligned. What you describe as larger amplitude to us simply feels like resonance. Do you know that old saying,
Don't walk behind me, I may not lead;
Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow;
Just walk beside me and be my friend.
That is me. With my boyfriend, we seemed to always be walking one in front of or behind the other (figuratively) and never side-by-side. With Alex, we've always been in sync and side-by-side.

@sarabee1995 Well what happens the day you're all of a sudden not friends?
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
@MartinTheFirst Well ... we've been friends since we were 14 and started high school together. So we know each other pretty well. We know all each other's secrets. We've seen each other's warts. We went off to college together as a couple (different schools, same city - Providence). And we broke up not because of anything having to do with either of us. We broke up because of family pressure. That's now gone and I think it's time to try again.

buy land out in the middle of nowhere and be self-sufficient and away from most of society
i could use a bit more money, but, other than that, my life is pretty damn good.
