Why doesn't Google have dark mode ?

I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown I can't get night mode on my Google app. Why doesn't it not have dark mode ?

Yeah it annoys me too. I gave up on dark mode, jist because of that.
Ot was annoying going from all black to bright white

Oh but it does. You have to go into their theme's and then download and apply it.
