My first thought, initially was my dad's own setup has these little devices that you hook up to the TV and then to like a dozen or so peripheral so that you can switch between like the Blu ray player and the cable box or like a video game system, etc and they're all hooked up. I had no idea the channel changers sucked like this in the 70s.
makes me grateful we have a remote control these days, so you don't have to get up to change the channel.
