It shouldn't be at only 12 years old as long as it still works satisfactorily, though I don't know if televisions made now are of higher definition still.

@Godgundam91 I don't know. I judge by how it looks to me when viewing it, not the formal specifications. So I would go by how well it displays fine detail such as text or facial features, from your normal viewing distance.
Also, a count of so-many pixels in each direction is not always very helpful because the definition is then also controlled by the screen's physical size.
As it happens I don't have a television but I apply the same principle to any display screen.

@ArishMell I see my video games look great on it and I mean from Xbox 360 to PS5 they all look great even ps3, PS4 and Xbox one and series x

Also my much older systems like PS2 and GameCube look very good in picture quality
