Batteries or rechargeable ??

You can apply this to your toys (or your flashlights).

Seems like they either need batteries or are rechargeable.
Personally, I find anything that needs to be recharged is usually dead or almost dead when you need it unless its on a charger.

I like old school…batteries. If its dead, it only takes a couple seconds and its back to full charge. I hate being in the dark in a power failure waiting for my flashlights to charge.

Yep... kind of the same idea with rechargeable battery packs for outdoor equipment. I am not a fan.

I have rechargeable batteries for many things, but the problem is knowing when they are no longer good. lol

I prefer things with changeable batteries; the trouble with sealed units is that the internal battery will inevitably fail and/or the charger connecter becomes worn out from use

batteries I can't be bothered with the rechargeables haha
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
@Lilymoon I have a box of chargers that I have no idea what they are needed for…but likely for something that won’t run without them.

Batteries as long as you have spares. No need to look for powerpoints.
Rechargeable is more reliable. 😌

I agree. All my flashlights are assorted sized standard batteries. No USB rechargable crap or lithium Ion firestarters.

@LunarOrbit Stockpile of AA and AAA size some 9 volt for smoke detectors and some old school D sized for a cool flashlight/club. Various places throughout the house. Can never find them.
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
@Icedsky Yes. I do. I buy Costco packs of batteries.

Its the rechargeable flashlights that I was referring to. I have a friend that has a flashlight fetish. Everytime he sees a new type, he buys me one. And himself one. But theyve all been rechargeable. Hate em
Icedsky · 46-50, M
@LunarOrbit I agree. They tend to suck.
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
@BreezeyBree2 And everytime you use them, the batteries last less and less. :(
BreezeyBree2 · 56-60
@LunarOrbit For sure! I bought cheap dollar store batteries that worked quite well while the expensive rechargeable didn't.

For my phone and cordless power tools I like rechargeable.
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
@Stereoguy Yes. Cordless power tools are a game changer
