Can you return an electronic item within few days of purchase?

I tried to return the AirPods pro I purchased 10 days ago because I got informed that a newer version will be released soon but the seller refused my request and I had to contact the consumer protection to ask about my exact rights and they said I can return it within 14 days of purchase only if the item is defective or doesn’t meet some requirements promised by the seller.


But I think in some countries I can return it within 14 days even if there’s nothing wrong with the item. Right?
