I Am A Pokemon Master

The handheld games always had too much mindless grinding for me to want to properly finish them. But Pokémon Go? Completely different story. As of writing this I've been a player for 3 months and 8 days, with 266 miles walked and 115 Pokémon caught (most recently, Charizard). By now I really should have more than I have in my Pokédex, but seeing as though I WALK pretty much everywhere it's hard to venture out and find rarer Pokémon. Charizard was just dumb luck most likely. So yeah, I've been traveling pretty far and wide. If you play too please feel free to comment on your PGO experience so far or private message me if you'd like. Catch 'em all!

I'm hoping they do a better radar system soon. It is frustrating to have a dragonite on your nearby and end up a sweaty disappointed mess 15 minutes later

Here's a tip because tracking is vital to actually enjoying the game. If something pops up on the radar and you want to track it, remember where it first appeared and continue walking straight. Now either A: you'll run right into it, or B: walk until it disappears. Remember where it disappeared and walk back to directly between where it first and last appeared. Now either go directly left or right and you'll find it (if it hasnt despawned). Hope that helps!
I've been playing for about as long as you have, and I've only caught 57 Pokémon. 😅 I don't travel very far in my Pokémon expeditions, so that number isn't likely to climb much higher any time soon. Especially since it's getting cold around here. I walked pretty much every day during the summer. o-o

@AmbivalentFriability: Well about the seasons, I'm just now learning why I like colder months so much. Because in the summer it's a constant battle to stay cool, to wear as little as possible and be miserable. But in the winter and fall it's a battle to stay just warm. Not to stay HOT, but just warm and cozzy and comfortable.
Not. Bad.
@LifesProtagonist: Up here in Canada staying warm during the winter requires at least 3 layers of clothing. Dx Any exposed skin will go numb from the cold. Eh, you win some you lose some. At least I don't have to worry about melting to death during the 3 warmer months of the year we have. ;p

@AmbivalentFriability: I keep forgetting that "Canada" thing that makes your weather way different from mine... hmmm.

Well plus-side: you save a fuck ton on drinks in the summer because you don't need them as much to be chill. Also I bet you drink HELLA hot chocolate in the winter 👌
