Witch Hunter Robin was one that I remember having a super unsatisfying ending.

Also D.Gray-Man.

@thepreposterouspanda I've heard that. Robin was a slow burn, which is fun, but the ending sucked.

@Magnolia21 I really enjoyed it all the way until the last episode and then I was just grumpy haha.

D.Gray-Man hasn't even finished manga-wise (last time I checked anyway) and I don't know that it ever will. Kinda makes sense why the show just did the "And the adventure will continue!" ending. 🤔

@thepreposterouspanda Too many anime seem to end right as the source material starts getting really good. But that's the way it is. I never bought that, "The show was an ad for the manga" crap either.

@thepreposterouspanda Wait, D-Gray Man didn't end properly? I still haven't watched most of it but when they brought it back a few years ago I thought the whole point was to finish to story.

@Redstar Nope, the manga went into a way different direction than I thought it would head and then the author went on what seems like a permanent hiatus. 🤔 They ended the anime with the "And the adventure will continue!" sort of ending if I recall correctly.

@thepreposterouspanda Damn. Well, that sucks.
