Question for people who watched the Made in Abyss Movie [I Love Anime]

(Minor spoiler warning)
IMO Bondrewd is a great villain and his design is cool as hell but I don’t want to like him as a character because of the truly awful things he did. Obviously I know the show isn’t real but I’m still conflicted about it. Does anyone else have this dilemma?

I feel this with a lot of shows and movies...the "morally gray" character to root for, or even more drastic, the villain you cheer on!! It's conflicting, right?!! Are there any other anime you enjoy??
