I love Shippuden, which includes the backstories of the legendary sanin, as well as the evolution of several core characters (including Naruto himself, and his family). The motives behind Itachi’s murder of his and Sasuke’s clan is finally explained, and there’s the change of Gaara from an outcast to a respected leader of the Sand Village, in addition to his friendship with Naruto.

@bijouxbroussard thats a great analysis right there. I was thinking the same thing. Like all our questions are answered in Shippuden. Even tho the Naruto series is nostalgic for me, it was one of the first animes I actually got into watching from the beginning and was inspiring for me when I was like 10 lol.
