As you know I've just gotten into anime and I prefer subtitles because the dubs sound overly rehearsed.
However I end up watching dub most of the time because it's most familiar and easier to pay attention, it would be nice to learn Japanese but there's so many Anime in different countries that it's near impossible for me not to watch with either subtitles or dubs.

@SatanBurger They do sound rehearsed. The actors do rehearse a lot to get those parts right. But wouldn't it be true no matter what since the stories are going in very specific ways? I'm sure in their originals it would be said the same is true.

@froggtongue I'm not saying they don't do a good job but the subtitles at least have the actors original voices which kind of matches the character more in my opinion, usually softer tones of voices.

@froggtongue But I watch anime in dub most of the time, it's not bad but still sounds off to me.
