I Love The Anime Tokyo Ghoul

Anyone watch the re series? I just binge watched the last 5 episodes I hadn't watched yet and I found it hard 2 enjoy. Sure the fight scenes were cool, but I couldn't feel invested in all these new characters. I didn't give a flying shit about some dipstick dying and leaving behind his unwell sister. I guess why I couldn't care is because the anime didn't want to explain why I should invest feelings for that character until I'm meant 2 grieve.

At least re season 2 looks better from the post credits

I haventbseennit yet but i was considering watching it. Its just that Tokyo Ghoul is too hyped up rigbt now and if my expectations are too high i might just come away disappointed.

@TURTLEGOD I wasn't fan of the season. I really did find it hard 2 watch compared 2 season one. Although there are redeeming qualities. I wouldn't say don't watch, it just seems that the more interesting story won't come until next season.
