Mainstream shonen is suck

[c=359E00]The problem with mainstream shonen is the audience only care about the fight. As long as the fight looks cool they didn't care about everything else. They didn't care that every series main protagonist have the same template, they didn't care with things like story or character development, they didn't care that same the theme and formula have been used for literally 30 years, they didn't care that every aspect is soooo generic. They only care about 'oh.. character x is so strong', 'oh.. character y get new form', 'oh.. that new move is looks cool'. That's why mainstream shonen keep produced until now, because they still have audience

But in the end.. yeah, it's shonen series, they were supposed for young boys 🤷‍♀️ you shouldn't expect much from it[/c]
