I don't want to touch the controversy here but will anyways.

. A report from the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women in 2016 claimed that, "stereotypes continue to be the root cause of sexual violence against women, and pornography, anime, video games, and manga contribute to sexual violence against women and girls."

I don't buy it.

Key points

Porn use is a proposed risk factor for sexual violence.
A two-year study of high school males looked at whether porn use precedes sexual violence.
The study found no evidence for the proposal that porn use encourages men to be sexually violent.

Experts have REPEATEDLY EXAMINED claims like this and found them lacking. We continue to circle the drain in a never ending culture war in which ONE Side is CONSTANTLY screaming about how men's hobbies endanger women and yet it NEVER ACTUALLY PROVES THE CLAIM.

There's NO EVIDENCE for the position in that Report it's a BASELESS CLAIM and essentially just because it's easy to imagine pornography causing sexualized violence doesn't mean it necessarily DOES.'

I understand full well that they're "concerned" but it doesn't mean they have a valid reason to be worired about any of the shit they claim to worry about.

For the simple reason that Correlation is not causation.

Aggressive men might be porn users but that doesn't mean that porn caused their aggression
