What if that hawk is eating something like a baby deer or something and the mummy deer just came to the rescue
Edit
I just watched it on YouTube and it was a hawk swooped down to rescue a rabbit!
Herbivores sticking together

Someone in the comments mentions that a screaming rabbit sounds similar to a baby doe in distress,,, maybe this deer has a baby fawn nearby
Carissimi · 70-79, F
Possibly, but I thought the deer was a baby itself. Maybe they breed young. Whatever the reason, I never knew deer could be murderous. @Tminus6453

The hawk was chump change.

“Take that! And that! And that!! Doesn’t feel so good to be the prey now, does it?” @Freeranger

That's incredible!
Bambi is pretty tight with Thumper!

Damn - the deer really does a job on the hawk!
He beats the daylights out the hawk for three minutes!
About 2:45 another deer comes on the scene and is chased away.

I know. Just as you think it will stop attacking, and the Hawk will fly away, it keeps going. No, that deer was going to make sure the Hawk was dead. @Budwick
That's gangsta. He said "what up wit it foo? Not in my woods"
@Carissimi animals do some unexpected shit when we aren't looking. I remember last year a tortoise hunted down a bird to eat it.
But they're supposed to be herbivores 🤷 it's wild
Carissimi · 70-79, F
That is strange. There is another world going on in the animal kingdom that we are not privy to. @ChiefWalksWith40oz
@Carissimi there's a lot we don't know about many subjects, like what goes on in animals thoughts lol. I'm very curious
