Isn't Agnosticism Redundant?

Since neither theist nor atheist knows.

An extremely small percentage of atheists know how prove the non-existence of God and I'm one of them. Agnosticism is certainly worth mentioning in that they are more patient with the provision of proof one way or another.

@Emosaur You're too unfamiliar with good methodology to qualify.

@Emosaur As you wish. We can agree on the outcome even if we vastly differ in rational approach.

@Emosaur Yes. Are you familiar with mine?

@Emosaur This post, though?

@Emjay I'm sorry, you are incorrect. You cannot prove the non-existence of God. You can put some really good arguments for atheism as I can. But you can't prove it. Have you studied epistemology or philosophy?

@Emosaur No, I've seen your argument and you had difficulty following the rebuttal. I'm not going there again.

@Abstraction Your claim is wrong. By proving that a specific belief (which cannot include God) is singularly correct God is then unintentionally excluded from possibility. This is doable. I'm afraid your knowledge is lagging behind. Seven decades.
Abstraction · 61-69, M
@Emosaur It wasn't complicated.

@Emjay My understanding of discussions in philosophy, physics and neurology are very current - every week, in fact. So I'm quite happy for you to put forward this specific, singularly correct belief that excludes God. I'm not being rude when I say this, I just see no point in allusions to secret arguments held by some elite: put up or shut up. What's this belief?
Emjay · 18-21, F
@Abstraction It would be a waste of my time to try and teach you about what is proven correct. Suffice it to say that the possibilities for beliefs are quantifiable and this yields new insights. One belief is necessarily correct.

@Emjay As I expected and as I called it. You're out of your depth and frightened of being exposed. Perhaps you have a teacher somewhere whose BS exceeds their capacity and you're convinced they are correct.
And is English is your second language? You write like an undergraduate trying to sound sophisticated. I did that long ago. That last sentence could be written very simply and clearly - and while it's true that we can logically reduce belief options to a few - in fact it doesn't lead to a single, completely verifiable belief. It's BS.

Let's see it, then. @HollyW tends to delete and run as I recall. https://similarworlds.com/atheism/4597478-Misconceptions-about-gods-and-the-Bible

@BibleData Why are you directing me to a thread I had no part in? And why are you coming to the defense of a know-it-all troll? Is it because he reminds you of yourself? Maybe you should take the basic knowledge test I proposed to him. I bet you would miserably fail it too.
