I don't have time for "cold calls"...

DO:
If you see my posts, give me thumbs up or hearts or LOLs or make comments, offering counterpoints, but you reserve the right to provide no feedback. I see your posts. I might do the same thing. Or I might look at other posts, providing no feedback.

DON'T:
When you see my profile, don't PM me saying nothing. We have to talk about something. "Hello how are you doing?" is pointless. If you PM me, have a good reason.

I don't PM people, because I don't have a lot to say.
Would never PM anybody I had no connection with through the feed first.
And a lot of people want to go in a direction I am not comfortable in.
These are not personally aimed at anyone.
I'm just a woman of few words and high boundaries.
I won't try to be an entertainer for people, because I'm not one.

Hello how you were doing? is a greeting and used to be considered polite.
So, I don't understand the objection to that one as much as I do understand someone just says hi or hey?

Our world is so isolated ,because we demand too much of people. (My opinion)
You must say the exact thing someone wants to hear and entertain them or they don't like you; they won't talk to you.

The written word is sometimes misunderstood, another reason I don't like to have too many private conversations here.

I feel the cheap-shot. They want YOU to do all the work. I dump people like that FAST
They want to be flattered by YOU. They dont care about you though.

I feel exactly the same way.

You call it a cold call. Sometimes I think it is a "mass mailing", sent out in bulk to lots of people, to see who will take the bait.
