Today I went out on a second meeting with a man
I will call them meetings and not dates - with the help of a friend through discussion, she suggested to me that I should go closer to men and see what is it that troubles me.
And so I became more open and suddenly I am invited out. Once, it was before I leave Greece a couple of days and today randomly by a stranger I was met on the streets here.
So what I see is the difficulty in establishing spaces - one was very clingy and the other distant/rejective.
From my experience of humaning so far, :), I know things work in opposition as well and too often and I am not quick to judge. Anyways my quest is to bridge some gap and lessen my resistance for the time being - than and in itself is taking all the stress away and I can be myself, as much relaxed as the resonance with the other is allowing, and open to listen and trusting to share.
I need some more work in listening it feels, but only in certain cases. In other cases, it feels there is a natural balance of occupying space - listening as receiving the other and then actively sharing ourselves.
I had fun but both occasions chose alcohol and went for a second glass - something I do not particularly value, and especially in the first stages of getting to know another person.
But I am still open. Is this the invitation for a relationship ? Or is it perhaps a confirmation that I do not wish to engage? I do not know.
