Talking about the initiative again. I done my part well and we finished one week before the deadIine, so I was assigned another group to help .

I felt very resistant but the group themselves messaged me to request me to accept 👀

so I said they should consider me just volunteering and I won't be taking most of the load.

As soon as I joined the live meeting, I noticed how everyone is way different than the people I had to organize before.

THEY ARE AMAZING.

They ask questions, they engage without me pushing them to reflect on the limitations, all I have to do is facilitate the path.

They come from Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Philippines. They are so energized, so in tune with their own humanitarian projects related to education. They want to change their communities and they all work with underprivileged groups. They do what they do because they believe in its importance.

I love them!! They care about what they are doing. This group is way better than mine. Democracy is certainly better than dictatorship but not every community is capable of harnessing its advantages. There has to be commitment and a shared vision as well as values for it to lead to something constructive.

Such beautiful bunch of human beings.
