I Love to Make New Friends and Meet New People

I thought I should make my first post. I'm a married mother of 2 teens living in rural New England. I'm a Navy wife and a christian. I'm also a freelance illustrator. I'm 45 years old and lived all over the United States, but we are now here to stay in New England. I'm looking to make new friends.

Mild winter...but tonight is frigid and a bit of sleet and a lot of wind.

No....well usually we have a ton of snow right now but it's been very mild. Tonight it is sleet. Which is like being peppered with slushy misty drops. Ya...what the heck am I doing living here?! I'm crazy. Someone send Spring!

Right now...not so much. Very gray because we haven't had much snow. The landscape looks pretty dead right now.....or at the very least....extremely sleepy and disinterested in looking attractive. Oh how I miss hot! *sigh*
